Who: Ted and Meda
Where: Moaning Myrtles Bathroom
Why: you know why
When: Early morning
Andromeda was throwing up. Ted paced outside her stall door, she’d told him to meet her, but he did not know it was to listen to her be sick.
Moaning Myrtle was gurgling from the u bend three toilets down the faint light streamed through the windows.
“Meda, you okay beautiful?” He asked, knocking on the door.
His knock was met by another bout of vomiting. It went on for about twenty minutes and then she came out. He was shocked to see her. She had on no make up, a sweatshirt and black leggings. He frowned as she went to wash her mouth out at the sink.
“Teddy I have something to tell you,” Meda turned slowly, guilt filling her features.
“What’s wrong love?” He asked her quietly.
“For the last couple of months I’ve been…I’ve been… seeing Antonin Dolohov behind your back,” she closed her eyes and hung her head.
Ted just stopped, it felt like every drop of blood drained from his face, his heart slowed, anger, panic and jealousy began to fight over who’d take control. He swallowed and blinked.
“You’ve been dating him?” He asked quietly.
“Yes…but Teddy I love you,” Andromeda whispered.
“Don’t tell me you love me when you’ve been cheating on me,” Ted bit out.
“It’s just Antonin and I have such history. I know I’m horrible, call me a nasty slut… But I love you….” She said, tears forming in her eyes.
“Have you been sleeping with him?” he asked.
“That’s pretty much all our relationship consists of.” Andromeda admitted.
“So you’ve been…screwing another man and then coming to my bed as well?” Ted closed his eyes against the pain, that must have been why their sex life had practically dropped off the face of the planet.
He turned to go, he needed to think and be without her.
“Wait Teddy there’s something else,” Andromeda put a hand out to stop him.
He looked at the door, “something else?” he asked, tired.
“I’m having a baby,” Andromeda said, ending it on a sob.
Ted felt like someone had punched him in the gut, “a baby?” he asked and turned back around. He watched as she nodded and put her hands to her stomach.
“Is it mine?” He asked quietly.
“I won’t know for another couple of months,” Meda shrugged, the tears spilling down her cheeks.
“I love you Andromeda if it’s mine I’ll do what I need to,” he told her firmly, “but I need some space from you for right now.” He turned back towards the door.
“I love you Teddy believe me,” she called after him.
Ted just kept walking.
